In this episode, XT host Sara Riordan targets Jeep Gladiator owners with her top picks for the 5 best beginner mods. With a wide range of aftermarket parts available to Gladiator owners, the new video offers a clear starting point for basic, budget-friendly upgrades.

Jeep Gladiator Overhaul | “Throttle Out” Episode

ExtremeTerrain Transforms a Stock JT for Spring

 

PAOLI, Pa. (February 22nd, 2021) – Off-road parts authority, ExtremeTerrain (XT) releases a new video in its “Throttle Out” YouTube series. Hosted by XT’s Merideth Evasew, the latest episode sees a stock Jeep Gladiator overhauled for spring. With 20+ parts installed, the video shows Jeep owners how to achieve a trail-ready rig that is also stylish and comfortable for the street.

 

The video begins with a look at the truck pre- and post-wrap which immediately adds to its rugged look.  The mods begin with the stance. Merideth adds a 2.5-inch lift along with a new set of wheels and tires.  Moving on from there, viewers see the gradual transformation with each new modification. These include new fenders, a full-width bumper, LED headlights, tubular adventure doors, a tri-fold tonneau cover, step sliders, and much more. Merideth explains the reasons behind each choice, and how it adds to the overall heavy-duty aesthetic she is after.

Inspirational Trail-Ready Jeep Wrangler

 

PAOLI, Pa. (February 10th, 2021) – The latest installment of ExtremeTerrain’s (XT) “Customer Builds” YouTube series has been released. This episode features a 2009 Jeep Wrangler JKU that’s built for the trails. XT host, Merideth Evasew hops on a Zoom call with owner, Brian Voelzke for the full scoop on all his mods. XT’s spotlight series features rigs from customers across the country providing Jeep enthusiasts with ideas for their own ride.

First up is the foundation of this build. Merideth and Brian talk about his choice for a spring-based lift kit as well as his wheel and tire setup. Next, Brian installed new shocks, upgraded his steering components, upper control arms, lower control arms, and more. They move onto his exterior and armor mods covering his front/rear bumpers, rocker guard, oil pan skid plate, and fenders. Brian considers his build ‘on hold’ from time to time, but never done. The video concludes with his future wish-list ranging from installing a soft top to full under armor.
